Batteries & other stand alone equipments are required for fully functional off grid solar system & add costs as well as maintenance. Grid-tie solar systems are therefore generally cheaper & simpler to install. Your solar panels will often generates more electricity onto the utility grid instead of storing it themselves with batteries.

Solar Water Pumps
A solar water pump has a mini power house at its heart and consists of a calibrated and matching solar array of modules – tuned with the equivalent power of pump for that particular application. The solar water pumping system is capable of running all types of electrical water pumps with applications varying from irrigation to household demands. Irrigation pumps such as submersible, surface or deep well can also be coupled with drip irrigation systems to enhance the returns from this configuration.
The Solar Water Pumping System is a stand-alone system operating directly on power generated by Solar Photovoltaic Modules during the daytime. Various types of Solar Pumps are used for lifting water from tube well, shallow well, ponds, canals for either drinking water in villages or mainly for irrigation purpose. The system is designed in such a way that it can also work with the existing Utility power to have more hours of operation for the Solar Pump.
Solar Water Heater
A Solar Water Heater (SWH) or Solar Thermal System is a device which provides hot water for bathing, washing, cleaning, etc. using solar energy. It is generally installed at the terrace or where sunlight is available and heats water during day time which is stored in an insulated storage tank for use when required including mornings.
It comprises of a or an array of solar collectors to collect solar energy and an insulated tank to store hot water. Both are connected to each other. During the day time, water in solar collectors gets heated which is either pumped or flown automatically on thermosyphon principle to the storage tank. Hot water then stored in the tank can be used for various applications.
